Think of the Bench as your birthday hideout: the perfect spot to catch your breath, grab a snack, and get ready for your next game or bounce house adventure.
Whether you’re gearing up for a relay race, a basketball challenge, or just some field games, we’ve got kid-friendly drinks and snacks to keep everyone fueled and happy.
Got favorite party food? No problem! You’re welcome to bring your own cake, snacks, or special treats to make the day even more personalized.
Take a break, laugh with your friends, and recharge—because every birthday champ needs a little downtime between the action-packed fun!
AREAs in The Bench
Ringo
This area near the front door has seating for 6 to 7 people. You can view a mounted TV from here as well as the projector screen on the whiteboard wall. The Ringo game and connect 4 is in this area as well.
Putskee
The Putskee area has seating for 6 to 8 at a bar top which can also be turned into a games table. You can view the project screen on the whiteboard wall and a second TV mounted on the wall. Games in this area include, you guessed it, the Putskee, but also connect 4 and Ringo.
Darts
The darts area has 1 standing table, the games, some of the bench and is a hop, skip and jump from your next beverage. You can view the 2 TVs over the bar or a great view of the projector screen on the whiteboard wall.
The Bar
The bar seats 4 to 5 people and has two TV viewing options. Need another beverage? You don’t have to go far.
Conference Room
This is a private space near the back that can seat 7 to 10 people. There is an 85in TV for presentations, watching sports or playing Nintendo. This room also has a large whiteboard.

What is a sports speakeasy?
A place where you can relax, watch sports, play some games and have some drinks that doesn’t require a dress code. Somewhere that the music is loud enough for you to enjoy, but not so loud that you can’t chat with your friends or meet new ones.

Do you have food?
We do not currently have food but you can bring or order in whatever food you like.
Can I watch sports?
Yes, each area has a TV or projector to watch your preferred sports or game. The main bench area has a large 4K projector with the most important game of the night. The conference room has an 85in TV with seating as well.
Do you have games?
Yes, we have Darts, Connect 4, Ringo, Putskee, Nintendo, and board games.
Can I rent The Bench?
Yes, The Bench is great for hosting a birthday party, corporate team building, gender reveal, graduation party, a fantasy draft, baby shower, a poker night, and more.
You only accept credit cards?
Correct. We only accept credit card. No cash will be accepted.
Do I have to make a reservation to enter?
No, Areas are first come first serve but if you’d like to reserve an area for your group reach out to thebench@kccrew.com
Are kids allowed?
The Bench is 21 and older except for private events and before 7pm on weekends.
What drinks do you have?
We offer a variety of canned beverages focusing on healthy and local. Americans are drinking less. They want to feel good but they also still want to be social. Enjoy a functional drink such as Sports Coffee, kombucha, juice, or energy. Or be spirited with our canned beer, seltzer, cocktails, cider or wine. NA options also available. More options coming soon.

The Bench is great for hosting a birthday party, gender reveal, graduation party, a fantasy draft, diaper parties, corporate event or a poker night. Yes kids are allowed for private events. Click Here and fill out the form to see how we can plan and manage an awesome event for your group of up to 50 people.
We can also pair your event with use of the courts in HyVee Arena to play pickleball, basketball, volleyball, cornhole, setup a bounce house and run a fun Field Day competition for your group.
